What is a B-Dry® System?

	Our installation teams start the process by placing protective covering over any furniture or other homeowner possessions prior to the installation. The B-Dry® System of waterproofing is installed by temporarily removing the inside perimeter of your basement floor and creating a specialized drain system below the floor level. Specially designed water collecting pipe is buried in the gravel to collect any water seepage trying to enter your basement from below the floor level. The piping is vented at various locations to create access to the inside of the pipes in case future cleanout is needed. If water is also seeping through your basement walls, specially designed diverters are installed on the walls and extended upward above the problem wall areas. Wells are dug at the lowest point of the installed piping system, and a bucket is dropped into the well to create a holding point for the system sump pump. In some installations, two wells may be recommended to hold a main pump and a backup pump, or a battery powered backup pump. A vertical discharge pipe carries the sump pump water up and out through the basement wall to a suitable location. After the entire system has been installed, the perimeter around the basement floor is neatly recemented to match the existing floor. Should any water approach the perimeter of your basement floor, or attempt to seep through your basement walls, the B-Dry® System collects and diverts the water to your newly installed sump pump. The pump in turn delivers the collected water to the drainage line that runs out through the basement wall. Your basement stays dry when protected by the proven B-Dry ® System waterproofing method!
